Summit Colorado Interfaith Council works with diverse community partners to create dialogue and action to address human needs.

STARR Program: Strategies to Avoid Relapse and Recidivism

Mili Arana, Case Manager, presented the STARR program to the monthly SCIC meeting. The STARR program provides substance and/or mental health treatment services within the jail. It links individuals being release from jail to free or low cost services in the community.

The STARR program and the SMART program are innovative approaches by law enforcement to reduce the human and financial costs of crime in our community.

Each month in the summer,  the Summit County Interfaith Council hosts documentary films on issues affect the residents of Summit County. The films are shown on Sunday evenings in Finkel Auditorium of the  Colorado Mountain College.
